A Build & Fly Model Rocketry Workshop

Here is your chance to get started in a fun and exciting hobby. This workshop is suitable for kids ages 8 to 12 (accompanied by an adult). We will help the kids build a rocket and then fly it. The fee includes a model rocket kit and motors. Rocket construction will take place at the Leonhard Center in the morning regardless of the weather. Flying will take take place at Dodds Park during the afternoon if the weather permits. If the weather is bad on this day we will be holding additional launches at Dodds Park in the next several months when the kids will be able to fly their rockets.
